Rules to spice up any card game or board game.

You can apply this to board games like Monopoly or Life, and you can also apply to card games like Uno or Phase 10.

Regardless of the game, choose certain events in the game and classify them into one of five types: starter, repetitive, small, medium, and large. Depending on the complexity of the game and your level of desire to do a lot or a few horny tasks, pick between 1-4 events for each category. For example, in Monopoly, these might be some events with their types: Starter=Getting your first property, First time passing go; Repetitive=Each time you pass go; Small=Landing on Chance, railroad or utilities; Medium=Getting a full set, Charging someone rent; Large=Going to Jail, Landing on Boardwalk or Park Place.

Play the game how you normally would, but also any time one of those events occurs, you roll the dice here and complete the task for that type of event. for example, if you pass go and land on a railroad, then press play on the game and complete both the Repetitive task and the Small task.

There are also tasks at the end of the game based on who wins and loses. If a player refuses to do a task, you can also do the punishment. If you’d like to force a random type of task to be performed, other than winning/losing/punishment, then you can use the Random task dice here to tell you which one to do.

This could work for games like: Monopoly, Life, Trivial pursuit, sorry, chutes and ladders, chess, checkers, poker, black jack, phase ten, uno, war
